Is there a default administrator password for windows 8?
Is there a default administrator password for windows 8, and can I use the default password to login my computer if i forget the password of other user account? Some people usually asked me.
Yes. Windows 8 has built-in administrator account and has a default password (a empty password). However, unluckily the administrator is disabled by default. So if want to use the administrator to login windows 8, you have to enable it. Or you can reset the forgotten apssword for locked account, or create a new account to loign windows 8 with software. Solution as below:
1. If you have another user account with administrator privilege, you can login to Windows 8 and use net user command to activate the administrator account. Run Command prompt as administrator, and then type in: net user administrator /activate.
2. Use Spower Windows Password Reset software to activate the disabled account. Spower Windows Password Reset software is mainly for resetting forgotten password for Windows, however if you use it to reset a password for a inactive account, the inactive account will be activated too. So if want to activate a user account, just follow this guide: Spower Windows Password Reset Guide
3. Use Spower Windows Password Reset Special to create a new user account offline.

4. Use password software to reset the lost password for user account of windows 8. See Spower Windows Password Reset Guide
